TBIM

Too Bad It's Monday. Although, it is the last Monday before Spring Break, so I will deal with it. It doesn't help that we had the time change this weekend and lost an hour. We had a busy weekend. Friday when I got in from school I iced my cakes. That is always the worst part because I'm a perfectionist and like them perfectly smooth. Scott wanted to go to Kohl's because they were having a sale on dress pants, so we went to Abuelo's for dinner and went to Kohl's afterwards. I decided I didn't want to make any more icing for the basket weave, so I bought some at Michael's. I actually got the basket weave done fairly quickly because I made the icing thin. It is supposed to be medium, but my hands can't take that. Scott cleaned while I decorated, so we got everything done and ready for the party and were in bed by 10:15. Pretty good. Scott went in to work at 6:00 so he could get off work to come to the party, so we all got woken up pretty early. Saturday morning Mom and I went to Panera for breakfast and then went a piddled around Utica Square. We used our coupons and I got a purse. Scott told me that was what he was working a good job for, so it made me feel a little better about it. Turns out, it was the one Deborah had posted on my blog about, I just hadn't read it. It had pink at the top with the tannish bottom with the C's. It's my spring purse. There were so many people in line that we had to wait for our purchases to be brought up from the back. They called my name and gave me my bag and I happened to open the bag they put the purses in and it turns out they didn't give me the right one. They had given me someone elses, which was like twice as expensive as the one I bought. It's a good thing I'm an honest person!! Then we looked around at a few more stores. I got the 3-D bunny cake pan from Williams-Sonoma on sale, so that was fun. I also got Scott and I some stress reliever bath soak from B & B Works. We used it last night. Then, we had the party on Saturday. It was fun, but everyone stayed forever. It was nice getting to see Jeff and Megan, because we don't get to see them often because they live in
Phoenix. Jeff came up to see his Mom because she isn't doing very well. She has stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her hip and rib. Not good. Sunday we slept in and didn't go to church. I went and hung out with Mom and Deb for a while, then went home and did laundry and litter boxes. When Scott got home we grilled pork chops for dinner and ate outside because it was so nice. Then we walked the dogs 2 miles and Scott was ready to go get his gun. Turns out his license is still his old one with his parents address on it, so he couldn't get it. I got some shoes though. He's going to get a new license after work, then we're going to go back and get it. Busy weekend. Not counting today, there are 4 days until spring break!!!!
