The Weekend

I had a great 3 day weekend. Too bad it's over! Scott and I had a date night on Friday night and went to Zio's. Saturday he worked, so I cleaned the house and then went grocery shopping and to my favorite place, Michael's. When he got home from work he wanted to go try Buffalo Wild Wings. It was our first time to go. We unfortunately got a waiter who it was his first night to work. He didn't know any questions we asked him. I ordered the crispy chicken salad because I thought it would be good. I ordered the sauce I had at Deborah's, so at least my chicken was good. They brought it out in a Styrofoam bowl, and gave me packets of dressing for my ranch. I don't think I was expecting that. I think it was the worst salad I have ever had. It was iceberg lettuce, but it wasn't even green. It was white and yellow green with all the nasty core chunks in it. Next time I'll just get chicken and french fries like Scott! We went and walked around Bass Pro after that and then went and visited Mom and Dad. Sunday I spent the day with Mom going around shopping and then we went to bring Scott lunch at the hospital. We went to the dog park with Jen Sunday afternoon. It was a lot of fun. Even Louie had fun. I did get peed on by a weenie dog named Conrad. Interesting. Guess I stood there too long because he walked up and hiked on me. Sunday night we went to eat with Scott's parents. They gave us $250 to spend on Will's room, so that was pretty exciting. As we were walking out the door to meet them this little yorkie ran up to us and we grabbed him, because these little boys were trying to catch him. Turns out he's the one we rescued before. His Mom thanked us and asked if I was pregnant. I said yes, and we were having a boy, and she said that was great because she had 2 boys and had a ton of boy stuff she would give me because she had no one else to give it to. Pretty cool huh? I've never met her before and she's offering me free stuff. Yesterday Mom and I started our day off at Mimi's for breakfast, then we went to the mall since we were so close. I got a diaper bag. Technically it is an extremely large purse, but I'm going to use it as a diaper bag. I got it half off, so that made it even better. It's a zebra print bag by Betsey Johnson. It has red shiny metallic trim with gold studs around it. It's pretty outrageous, but it's me. Scott was concerned about having to carry it too, but I assured him that he could carry the cheap we we send to day care. I was sad for my day to be over, but grateful for the break. Only 19 more school days until our next break in February. It will be on the weekend of Valentine's day, so that will be neat.
