Let it Snow

It is snowing in Tulsa. Well actually I think it has stopped now, but it has been snowing for 3 hours. It was really coming down this morning. It was kind of neat seeing all the tiny snow flakes landing on my scarf and all the little kids walking into school with their tongues sticking out trying to catch some snowflakes on their tongue. My 5th graders are on a field trip so I'm enjoying 50 minutes of unexpected solitude this morning. We still haven't caught the dog and we have to turn the trap back in tomorrow or forfeit our deposit. Maybe today will be the day. Hopefully she's not too cold outside. I put extra treats in her bowl this morning. Last night Scott got to feel his son kicking for the first time. I was laying in bed reading my bible and Will got to kicking away, so I had Scott come in to see if he could feel him and he could. Pretty exciting stuff going on in the Hughes house! Scott is going to work some OT this weekend so we can put it back and either by baby furniture with it or make our other house payment with it. I hate giving up my time with him, but what can you do? Mom and Dad are going to come over tonight for my minestrone soup. Today is a good day for hot soup since the temperature isn't going to get above freezing. Hey, at least we don't live in Minnesota. I read that temperatures are 40 below there. Florida sounds good about now.
