It definitely felt like Christmas time this morning. I couldn't believe how long it was spitting snow outside. I think when it's cold outside it ought to just snow. Thanksgiving was a success, although I didn't eat as much as I intended to. I need some more of Mom's cheese log. I made a pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin trifle, smoked salmon mousse in phyllo cups, and the ham. I didn't do as much shopping on Friday as I normally do. I didn't see as much stuff that I liked, and I'm already almost done buying every one's gifts. I did get my first peppermint mocha this weekend. It was delightful It had peppermint whip cream in it, so it made it even better. The little man has been kicking me a lot lately. He was playing soccer or something on Saturday. Today he hasn't been as active as then, but it's so crazy to be able to feel him. His name is going to be William for all of you that didn't know already. Scott picked the name in honor of Uncle Bill.
There are only 14 more mornings left to wake up in the first semester. Today was a surprisingly good day. Generally the first day back from a long break can be a nightmare, and it was Monday on top of that. My "A" group of kids are great though, and I enjoyed having them today. Luckily I only have my "C" group of kids once this week!!!!! I'm wondering if we're going to make it through this first semester without any snow days.
