The rat

Lucky for me, the school week is flying by. There are only 2 more days left!! I was not very excited to be at school yesterday because I was tired, but I went to bed early last night and today is better. I have yoga after school today and community group. Hopefully everyone likes the chili! There is a rat that has decided that he likes our house. It all started when I moved the dog house that the people who had our house before left. It was hiding behind it and I screamed and got Scott and he proceeded to chase it all over the yard and it escaped. Monday night I went in the garage to throw something away and I heard something moving. If I was at Mom and Dad's house I would think it was a cat, but my neighborhood doesn't have a plethora of stray cats. Once again I yelled for Scott to come see what it was. Turns our the rat found its way into our garage. I think he was after my bird food. My problem is that I don't want to kill it, but I don't want it in the house either. Scott said he either moves in with us or we buy a trap. I guess we will have to buy a trap. My cats are kind of dumb, and I know if he came in the house they would play with him and let him escape. I definitely don't want him in the house. The ironic thing is that I bought these Martha Stewart rat cut outs from her Halloween collection and decorated the base boards with them. I guess he decided he was welcome after that!

OH. MY. GOSH! You need a trap. Rats are much different than dogs and cats. How big is it?

I think he's about medium size. I actually tried not to get a good look at him!
