Chili

I've decided that it is fall at the Hughes house. I decided a couple of weeks ago actually, when I went ahead and decorated. It is officially fall because I made chili last night for dinner. I decided that since it was supposed to be a chilly, rainy day that I would make some chili. Mom and Dad came over for it and then we had root bear floats for dessert. It was nice. I never seem to make enough chili though. There was some leftover, just not a lot. I think I may go ahead and decorate for Halloween soon, because I just can't resist the temptation any longer!! Pottery Barn has some awesome Halloween decorations, and unfortunately I like ALL of them. Conveniently they sent me a 10% off coupon yesterday. I really love all of Martha Stewart's decorations that they sell at Michael's. Lucky for me they always have coupons, so I've been collecting Halloween decorations for like the past month. I still haven't decided what I want to be yet. I am very glad though that it is on a Friday this year.

I have another meeting after school today, and I wish I didn't. It has been raining all day, and I'm ready to go home. I had a meeting on Monday to. 2 in one week is 1 to many. I did wear my cool silver rain coat to work though, so at least I'm in style. I also get paid $40 to go to my meeting today, so I guess it's worth it. I'm using the money from those meetings to pay for a Coach purse and wallet I bought on sale last month. Naughty Beth! It's a cool purse though. I almost have one for every month of the year!!
