Less than a week

I can't believe that Christmas is in less than a week. We also only have 2 more days of school not counting today. I'm ready to be able to sleep in! Actually, I'm just ready for the summer break too!! The HGTV dream home is in Florida this year. That's were I need to live. Scott and I can win it and Mom and Dad can move down there with us. Then I can go on cruises all the time because I won't have to pay to fly there!! I'm not feeling very motivated for school today. I'm tired and I have had this nasty cough for like 2 weeks. I told Scott we should have a Christmas party every night until Christmas! It's because my party was so much fun. Here's a list of what I made:
mini pizzas, spinach artichoke dip, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad bites,Oreo cookie balls, red velvet cake balls, chocolate covered pretzel sticks, chocolate dessert cups filled with french vanilla mousse and topped with a fresh raspberry, chocolate fudge, mint fudge,my snowman candy suckers to match my snowman Christmas dishes and Oprah's pomegranate martini. I ate lots of everything!! Almost everything I made was a new recipe and it all turned out well. I've discovered that I don't really have an interest in cooking dinner and things like that, I prefer making little specialty candies, decorating cakes and things like that. I should be a pastry chef. We grilled steaks for dinner last night and this morning while I was getting ready Lola got in the trash and strung it all over the kitchen. It's a good thing her Daddy wasn't home because he is the major animal disciplinarian and she gets her feelings hurt much more when he gets onto her. Scott has to work on Christmas so I'm starting to feel really bummed about that. Hopefully we'll work out some fun way to do our gifts and stockings. I'm just going to go over to Mom and Dad's because if I spend the morning alone at my house it will just make me depressed.
