Christmas Candy

Yesterday was a good day at school. It seemed kind of long, but it was still a good day. I've been having so many more of those lately. It's kind of nice! When I got home, Mom and I went and worked out and then I decided to make something new for dinner. It wasn't really new, I had just never made it for Scott before. It is the lemon chicken with rice that Mom used to make for us. It was pretty good. I'm having some for lunch today because I'm out of my frozen WW meals. After dinner, (well pretty much while I was cooking dinner too), is when the obsession started. I made a ton of Christmas candy last night. It was easier this time since I had done it before. I made a lot. I even hand painted the Santa suckers. I told Scott not to let me make any tonight. In fact, I even hid all my candy making things in the guest room closet! I'm making chili for us to have for dinner tonight. I think Mom and Dad are coming over too. Then I have to dust for community group. I might not though because they don't use their coasters that I set out for them and then I end up having to clean the glass on my tables twice. I think I'm going to have Scott vacuum though. He was supposed to do the dishes last night and he didn't, so I did them this morning before I left for work so I could have everything out and ready to make chili. I already have all my spices in the pot. I even used my peppermint cleaning kit from Williams Sonoma and cleaned off the kitchen counter. I will say that I knocked over my snowman mug with my peppermint mocha coffee and it went all over the counter. I guess it was because there wasn't that much on the counter to begin with, so my coffee thought it would help me out a little bit. I even used my peppermint dish soap on my pan, my peppermint hand soap and my peppermint lotion. Let's just say that if I walked by you this morning you would want to lick me because I smell so good!
I made these cute pictures yesterday at school. you rip up pieces of construction paper and make pictures out of them. I made a snowman and then I liked him so much, that like everything thing else in my life I made 3 more. Now I have a Santa, a tree and a Rudolph. Hobby Lobby has their frames half off and I told Scott I thought it would be cute if we framed them and hung them in the entry way to decorate for Christmas. He didn't like that idea. I think he thinks they are to childish. I think they look cute. I'm going to have my kids make them to take home. If I figure out how to add pictures I will post them on here.
