Back to School

Okay, I know it's been a while. I've been a very busy girl. The house is unpacked and decorated. I painted the bathroom. study and dining room. We're picking up our desk and dining room furniture set tomorrow, so that will make us almost done. There are still a few things in the garage at the other house, but it's been too hot out to mess with it. Besides, who looks in the garage? We're having the house cleaned tomorrow and mowed on Saturday because we're having an open house on Sunday. The more Scott and I have been thinking about it, the more we are moving towards renting it out if we can't find someone to buy it soon. We would definitely go through an agency to do it though. I got to do a little back to school clothes shopping this weekend, and now I have been making back to school jewelry to match. I think I would be really bored if I didn't come up with these things to do. Last night Scoot and I had a date night. First, we went to Abuelo's and had completely lack lustre service and then went to a movie. We saw The Dark Night. It was really good, and ironically, we haven't gone to the movie theater since the previous Batman came out 2 years ago. We need to do better! I decided to be domestic and I just got through making some cream cheese brownies from a recipe in the paper. I will say that my chocolate buttercream icing I made to go with them was fabulous. We finally got some rain today, which was very needed. There's nothing like free water for the yard! 3 more days until I have to go back to work.
