Phoenix

Well, I'm back from my whirwind trip to Phoenix. I just about went crazy getting everything ready for us to go. I had to miss our community group that we host at our house just so I could go get everything done before we went. It started off with Scott and I waking up at 4:00 in the morning on Friday and driving over to get Mom so she could take us to the airport. Security sucks at the airport. Scott wore Adidas pants with zippers that set the alarm off twice, so her got to go get wanded privately! He also got his hair gel thrown away because it was too big. I got plane sick ( I guess that's what you call it) on the flight from Tulsa to Dallas, so that sucked. Dramamine really helped though and then I enjoyed the flight to Phoenix. Scott and I bought a portable DVD player and we watched "Fun with Dick and Jane" on the flight. It was the best $99 ever invested. We got to our hotel before our room was ready so then we had to hang out with Scott's parents and go pick up Scott and his Dads' tux.
By this time I was starving and not feeling very amicable. So, we stopped at this outdoor mall place and ate at The Pink Taco. The hot sauce was really good, and the food was good, despite the name. Then we came back and took a nap and went to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. it lasted too long. Oh well, what can you do? Saturday we got up and went to this great buffet breakfast that the Double Tree has. Our room was awesome by the way, but it should have been for $120 a night. After breakfast we went and sat in the hot tub and swam for about an hour and a half. I think that was the most relaxing part of our trip. We saw a hummingbird while we were out at the pool, and I discovered that there were lime trees in the courtyard. So, I stole 2! Scott had to be at the wedding at 2:00 for pictures, then we got there at 3:00. The wedding was small, but the reception site was gorgeous. The reception was long, but we had fun. We got back to our hotel at about 10:00 and madly packed. Sunday morning we got up at 5:00 to fly back. My lotion got confiscated from Phoenix airport security, which was totally stupid because I had already flown twice with it. We made it home at about 1:30, and it was great to be home!!!
